  • Q1. Where can Vivaldi Decorative Panels be used?
  • A1. The panels are for covering internal walls or ceilings in any room in the home or commercial space, but they are specifically conceived for wet environments such as bathrooms, showers, kitchens or utility rooms.

  • Q2. What are the benefits of Decorative Wall Panels?
  • A2. The panels have a number of advantageous features;
    • 1. They avoid the mess and hassle associated with tiling.
    • 2. They dramatically reduce condensation as they are warm to touch.
    • 3. They fit easily over existing surfaces.
    • 4. They are easy to clean.
    • 5. They do not crack and are softer under impact than tiles.
    • 6. Some of the panels have additional features such as having antibacterial agents in the surface.

  • Q3. What are the Decorative Panels made of?
  • A3. The panels are made of PVC which is a rigid material with a degree of flexibility. The panels are of a hollow honeycomb construction, and are finished with a printing process to produce the range of colours and styles.

  • Q4. How many Panels are there in a pack?
  • A4. Each pack contains panels to cover a linear meter. So there are four 250mm wide panels in the pack.

  • Q5. Are the Panels waterproof?
  • A5. Yes, the panels are entirely waterproof, while the joints are designed to be watertight, we recommend a small bead of sealant between the tongue and groove during installation in areas such as power showers.

  • Q6. How do the Panels fit together?
  • A6. The panels fit together with a tongue and groove system, and are fixed on a lip that is concealed when the next panel is fitted. If it is relatively flat and unlikely to break away. the panels can be fitted to an existing surface or alternatively, battens can be fitted. Fixing can be with screws, staples, or glue.

  • Q7. Can I fit the Panels over existing tiles?
  • A7. Yes, as long as the tiles are well secured. Please note; that the IPSL panels are 10mm thick so please consider how this thickness will affect any bathroom fittings such as taps, valves, handles etc.

  • Q8. How do I actually install the Panels?
  • A8. Panels usually fitted vertically from ceiling to floor, although some situations may require that they run horizontally. You should prepare a plan of where you intend to fit each panel to the wall. A variety of trims are available for starting, corners, and finishing.   • Q9. How do Decorative Wall Panels compare to tiles for cost?
  • A9. Although you may be able to find some cheap tiles that cost less per square meter than panels, the overall cost of the panel project is likely to lower. This is mainly due to the reduced cost of installation.

  • Q10. What if I choose to change the design of my room in a few years time?
  • A10. Unlike tiles, the Decorative Wall Panels are very easy to remove and replace with an alternate design or colour, making redecorating a much easier project.

  • Q11. What guarantee comes with the product?
  • A11. The panels come with an 8 Year manufacturer's guarantee against cracking, warping, or discolouration. However, this does not cover any damage caused by misuse, damage through cleaning with abrasive or solvent substances, or through prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

  • Q12. This seems to be a new product on the market, where is it being used at present?
  • A12. Although this is a relatively new product in the UK, this has been an industry standard product in mainland Europe for the last twenty years. In the UK we have been more traditional and continued to use tiles, but more and more people are making Decorative Wall Panels their first choice in wall coverings.
